Your financial support is an investment in “Advancing Care.  Here.”

We are determined to ensure that HealthAlliance continues to offer the highest quality care right here in our community, and with your help, we can fund the technology, treatment, and training that will allow us to achieve this goal.

Diagnostics at HealthAlliance have never been easier or more  accurate, thanks to new technologies.  minimally invasive surgeries are now common.  In addition, electronic medical records, telehealth services and mobile technologies improve access to vital information.

Since 2013, the HealthAlliance Foundation has given nearly $357,000 toward improved technology, including:

Telemedicine Units • Telemetry Upgrade • Wireless Workstations on Wheels • Doppler Ultrasound  • Vital Signs Monitors • iPad Minis for Nurse Rounding System • Bladder Scanner • Electrosurgical Unit • Respiratory Pulse Oximeter & Acoustic Monitoring

Advancements in medical technology allow physicians to better treat their patients and improve patient comfort during treatment.  The Foundation supports numerous advances to ensure HealthAlliance delivers the promise of medicine and wellness to everyone who comes to the hospital.

In the past five years, we have dedicated more than $367,000 to patient care initiatives, including:

Wireless Fetal Monitoring • Language Assistance Program • Emergency Assistance for Cancer Patients • Broadway Campus Enhancements • Dialysis Recliners and Patient Activities • Patient Comfort Carts • Vein Viewers

As new technology and new methods of treatment are utilized in patient care, the need for education and training becomes a crucial component in quality healthcare.

The HealthAlliance Foundation is placing increased emphasis on excellence in hospital services through employee-based training via the STAR Program—a fundraising initiative aimed at supporting hospital-wide departmental staff training needs.

We have already contributed more than $94,000 to staff training and education, through opportunities including:

Emergency Department “Grow Your Own” Training Program • Wound Care Center Staff Development and Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification • Nursing References, Review Materials, and Seminars • Training Access • Dietary Staff ServSafe Certification  • Nursing Scholarships

These three critical areas need your support.  Every donation to the HealthAlliance Foundation provides support in the continuation and improvement of healthcare services for patients within Ulster County and its surrounding communities.

More importantly, a gift to the Foundation shows you believe in the importance of keeping quality healthcare and available to all in our community.
